I have specialist experience in depression, anxiety, trauma, relationships, bereavement,
body-based psychological problems or psychosomatic problems, eating disorders, difficult
transition periods, spiritual crisis, among others.

I am a qualified, experienced IAHIP and IACP accredited Integrative Psychotherapist
and Counsellor, working in Dublin city centre, Dublin 2, and Marino, Fairview, Clontarf,
Dublin 3. I am also fully insured and undergo regular clinical supervision as part
of my practise development.
Being an Integrative Psychotherapist / Counsellor means I work through three forms
of therapy:
- psychodynamic psychotherapy/counselling - developed by Sigmund Freud and Melanie
Klein - looking at how our past relationships impact on how we are now;
- humanistic psychotherapy/counselling - developed by Carl Rogers and Fritz Perls
- looking at how we are in the present and how new patterns can evolve from within
it;
- bodywork psychotherapy/counselling - developed by Wilhelm Reich and Alexander Lowen
- looking at how our body can tell us why we are as we are, giving us insight to
make positive change.
I completed a Master's degree and full training in Integrative Psychotherapy and
Counselling at The Minster Centre, London. During the five-year training I worked
as a student counsellor at Sussex University, Brighton, as a psychotherapist in
the charity sector, as well as completing work at a psychiatric hospital.
Accredited with the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy
(MIAHIP). I abide by it's code of ethics.
Accredited with the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MIACP).
Completed a post-qualifying training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with
the Immigrant Counselling and Psychotherapy (ICAP) service in London.
Completed a post-qualifying training in Group Therapy with PCI College in Dublin.
Other qualifications include a 2:1 honours degree in Humanities and the post-graduate
Higher Diploma in Education - Hdip(Ed).
